Socialising in the Southeast

One of the reasons we've had a bit of a dip in blog activity recently is because we've been catching up with lots of old friends in the southeast of England.
Back in 2007–2008, we lived here for a year and made so many good friends that it felt like we were here for much longer. After 16 years away (I did a flying visit about 9 years ago but didn't see many people), all the young-uns are very much grown up, but everyone else still seems very much the same (must be the lesser UV levels so far from the Antarctic ozone hole)!

This is just the start of some heavy socialising while we're in England, as we're hoping to catch up with some others now living elsewhere around the south of England.
We also managed a flying visit to our old apartment, which doesn't seem to have changed at all!
