Made it to Helsinki!
After our flight from Singapore to Helsinki.

We have arrived in Helsinki, Finland after our 13.5-hour all-night flight from Singapore! We left Singapore around 10pm on Thursday and arrived in Helsinki before 6am on Friday, so we really just had an extra-long night. We all got a few hours of sleep on the plane and are feeling okay!

It was dark when we landed, but we stayed at the airport for a couple of hours while we sorted out local eSims and researched public transport options etc. It is 16°C and rainy here today.

There are two of these "Lantern carrier" statues on either side of the main entrance.

After a train and tram ride, we've now checked in early at our hostel and plan to explore Helsinki this afternoon and this evening before allowing ourselves to sleep. 💤 We'll let you know what we think of Finland once we feel like we've actually seen some of it!
