What's happening with your house while you're away?
We're renting it out (furnished).

What's happening with your dog while you're away?
Mia is staying with one of A's writer friends.

Will you be homeschooling the boys?
Not formally. We'll just involve them in every aspect of daily life on the trip... activity planning, map reading, meal preparation, budget tracking, blogging, etc!

What's happening with your jobs?
B has banked up enough leave (regular, not long service) to take it at half-pay for the entire trip. A will continue doing her admin role remotely, but the hours are extremely minimal at this time of year.

Is this a book tour/ Will A be promoting her book?
No, there's no point since she is currently only published in Australia and NZ. This trip was in the works long before the publishing deal came along! You can bet there'll be a lot of bookish sightseeing though...
