Butchart Gardens

Another thing we did while in Victoria (on Vancouver Island) was visit the Butchart Gardens to see their Christmas lights. We'd been to the gardens three or four times before, including at Christmas time, and they've hardly changed! They still have the Twelve Days of Christmas displays, and the carollers and brass brand alternating on the half hour. It was a lovely, festive blast from the past, and fun to seek out each of the twelve displays in order, singing (and/or listening to others sing) the carol each time!

Here are the Twelve Days of Christmas displays...

Ten lords a-leaping.

After we'd walked through the gardens, we sat and watched the carollers and the brass band. And because I know some of our blog readers are into carolling and some are into brass bands, I took lots of videos! Enjoy!

Frosty the Snowman.
Silent Night.

Silver Bells.
Winter Wonderland.
Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.
Frosty the Snowman (an extremely cool version!).
Mary, Did You Know? (part 1)... for the Pentatonix fans!
Mary, Did You Know? (part 2)
Mary, Did You Know? (part 3)
This song is so familiar, but WHAT is it called?!

We Wish You a Merry Christmas!
