Italy for overland travel (Japan’s Shinkansen were also good but more expensive). Singapore for underground travel.

Worst Bus System

A: Biking in France.

B: Trams in Helsinki.

F: Car.

J: Plane.

Favourite Public Transport Moment

A: Reading Harry Potter to the family on the train in Paris on our last night in Europe. Mainly because it symbolises the first time I was brave enough to display my phone on public transport after being robbed!

B: Seeing Mt Fuji from the Shinkansen.

F: Using my tablet on the bullet train with free wifi.

J: I don't know.

Least Favourite Public Transport Moment

A: The moment B said, “My phone's gone”.

B: Getting my phone stolen half an hour after hitting Rome.

F: Dad getting pickpocketed.

J: Waiting for the bus in Rome and having to carry all those big annoying bags.

Country With The Best Transport Overall

Japan. Great for train, bus AND car travel (though not cheap).
