A's haikus — week 4

It's haiku time again! As a refresher, this form of Japanese poetry consists of three lines with five, seven and five syllables respectively. I've been writing one for each day of our trip...

Day 22 • 26 Sept • Oxford

Diddly Squat Farm Shop.
Sadly don't see Jeremy.
Eat good burgers though!

See Great Hall film location?

The current is fierce. Malc sweats—
But doesn't fall in!

Day 25 • 29 Sept • Cambridge

A day with our friends.
We eat McDonald's and then
Play Pictionary.

Day 26 • 30 Sept • Cambridge to London

Movie magic comes alive.
We are all in awe!

Day 27 • 1 Oct • London

London in the rain.
Platform nine and three quarters
Is invisible.

Day 28 • 2 Oct • London

Cursed Child two-part play.
Our seats are up in the clouds.
Myrtle makes us laugh.

Note: If you've missed any haikus, you can type 'haiku' into the search bar on the blog home page to easily find them all. Ditto for other tags and keywords!
