A visit to Diddly Squat

A visit to Diddly Squat

On Thursday we had a visit to Diddly Squat Farm (of Clarkson's Farm fame... those who know will understand, those who don't won't care anyway). We managed a quick look around the infamous farm shop (no sign of Lisa... or anyone else famous, much to F and J's disappointment — despite being warned this was likely the case) and picked up some local vittles and a postcard (of Kaleb in Jeremy's Lamborghini tractor).

The entrance and farm shop. Only about a ten-minute line up to get in (apparently it can be over an hour during busy season).
Get your cow juice refills here (old-style glass milk bottles are still available in the UK and can be refilled at these new-fangled machines).
Jeremy, Gerald and Kaleb stuffed toys available 😁.

We then grabbed some locally-grown burgers for lunch (very delicious) from around the back and ate in the former lambing shed.

Food van and the former lambing shed (with a pop-up shop).
We left our mark (with hundreds of others) on the wall of the lambing shed.
A view over the Cotswold hills.
The site of Jeremy's failed restaurant attempt.

After lunch we had a bit of a drive around Chadlington and a stop in Chipping Norton for some snacks and a quick charge at the local Co-Op before heading back through some very heavy rain. England has been having some very significant rain (and flooding) over the past week. Thursday night some areas are predicted to get a month's worth of rain overnight. Needless to say we encountered some very significant puddles (but no actual road impeding flooding yet)!
