A quick trip up the Strip

After a big sleep in on Thursday morning, we had our first excursion out into Las Vegas proper (for the boys anyway – this is the fifth visit for A and me). As we're staying right next door, our first visit was over to the Bellagio to watch the musical fountains and check out the current display in their conservatory.

After the Bellagio, we continued up the Strip to Caesars Palace.

Then we headed across the road to the Flamingo to check out their habitat area (flamingos and some other species). The flamingos were cool, but I think we were all most excited to see some native hummingbirds!

We did a quick walk by the outside of the Paris on our way back.

And then it was off to attempt a somewhat earlier night than we had been having (with middling success).
